i may have to start over...

i have obviously failed at taking/posting a picture cada dia (that's everyday for those of you english speakers, so everyone or no one since i'm pretty sure no one reads this blog. except for you mindy, thanks for the comment).

anyway, my camera is dead and i am still trying to figure out how to be a photographer, so here's a picture from last week to show off my son's budding ocd.

i wasn't home yesterday so, in not so many words, i failed yet again to post a picture. i also failed to take a picture because my awesome/ghetto camera's batteries died. yes, i did say batteries. its ridiculous. i am not above cheating, however, so i will post a picture from the internet to document the day.

in my defense, this is a photo of the actual booth that we sat in, but the sign said,

"Nobody is fine with water."

good times, good friends, good eats.

so, i already suck and forgot to post a picture yesterday. you're in luck, however, (those of you who have even looked at this blog...which i'm thinking aren't very many judging by the amount of comments on the last entry) because there will be two today to make up for the mishap.

andy the satellite guy. i asked for a pose in his uniform and this is what i got.

this picture was actually taken a couple days ago at my uncle's house in salt lake city. its a globe filled with water. everytime we go, luke spends the extent of his toddler attention span trying to land the ball on the tee. uncle glen acheived the goal while we were there, so it required some documentation. don't worry, luke dethroned said ball within minutes.

day numero uno

so, don't think i'm totally awesome quite yet...unless you already do, then go right ahead :) i got this killer idea from a friend of a facebook friend (amy, if you're reading this--tell her thanks and i'm not exactly stealing her genius, just was inspired by it).

i guess you could say i'm a budding photographer, but then again, who isn't? everyone wants to capture those unforgettable moments without causing the priceless memory to be blurry or off-center or lost due to snapping the picture a moment late only to be left with a look of bewilderment instead of the cutest smile in the history of the world. anyway, the idea is that i will take at least one picture everyday and then write a little something about it, even if its just, "luke cried today...surprise, surprise." i hope you enjoy it and i hope i can keep it up for a year. if i do, you are all taking me out to dinner. i bet you didn't know that was part of the deal, but now that you've read it, you're pretty much bound by the unwritten contract...or, i'll just buy myself a new pair of shoes at next year's nordstrom anniversay sale. woot woot!

the beginning of sofi's sure to exist love affair with food. it only goes up from here...i mean rice cereal? come on...
